PuckKCMO Twitch Graphics

Puck came to us seeking a top-to-bottom makeover for his stream. His vision? A Viking-inspired theme, complete with a mascot logo and a full-sized character version to be featured in screens and various other elements. To bring out that robust and masculine feel, we worked with a bold red and black colour scheme throughout.

Logo

Here is the mascot logo in its final form. A typical viking design. The circular shape that encloses the logo makes the design work well for profile pictures on social media and Twitch itself.

Background

The background is very simple but includes the Celtic pattern that is also in the logo.

Animated Stinger Transition

The stinger transition for Puck is very complex. He requested a custom viking scene to be drawn up and have the scene change with a sudden weather change. This meant we had to sketch a scene up first which you can see above. Then we added colour and made the vector illustration. After that, we added the motion of the weather change effect. Complex transitions like this can be very effective but they are a little more time consuming and costly to create.

Animated BRB Screen

Here's a glimpse of the full-sized character version of the logo. It works alongside the smaller logo design, keeping things uniform. The animation brings a playful element into the mix, while the text choice complements the overall theme perfectly. Instead of just saying 'be right back' - it says 'sharpening my axe' for a more quirky feel.

Sub Badges

The sub badges follow a typical idea of progression. The viking head grows up and becomes more intense the longer the viewer is subscribed and then it changes texture to gold. This also leaves room to add more textures such as diamond in future.
